What is PROA Technology?

ZEC Lubrication uses Polarized Refrigerant Oil Additive (PROA) technology combined with synthetic components resulting in a  concentrated  oil  that  is compatible with all conventional AC&R lubricants and  refrigerant. The result is an oil additive that is specially formulated to protect and prolong the life of the compressor unit and to restore the lost efficiency of the heat exchanger system due to fouling.

ZEC Lubrication PROA technology is completely  inert relative to all refrigerants and their respective lubricants and will not affect filter performance. Specially designed for air-conditioning and refrigeration compressors, the technology creates a microscopic electrochemical layer without the introduction of solid particles.

How it Works

PROA’s technology saves energy and ultimately reduces operating costs by creating a new film on the inside of coils. This enables the system to efficiently transfer heat, resulting in lower head pressure and colder evaporator coils and allowing the set point to be reached quicker and the compressor to cycle off more often.
